Mr. Sam

My name is Sam! Despite my background in engineering and aviation, I have spent many years exploring guitar, ukulele, piano, and trumpet. I’ve played in bands for short seasons but, more often than not, perform acoustic fingerstyle and electric lead guitar for weddings and banquets. Morever, I worked as a guitar luthier for a year and have taught music for 2 years.  

Outside of class, I enjoy flying airplanes, longboarding, and hanging out with friends. Who knows? You might even catch me playing Minecraft on the Hypixel server every so often.

I’m excited to have you join me and it frustrates me to think that school often takes the fun out of learning. That’s why I make it my personal mission to make learning fun. We can practice specific songs you like, dive into theory, or go by the book during our lessons. Please, share a joke with me — and definitely laught at mine. We’re all just here to have a good time, right?
